Background and significant appointmentsStephen is a founding partner of PPB, established in 1983, and has played a role in some of Australia's major corporate insolvencies and within his profession.
Engaged by the Commonwealth Government, Stephen provided advice on the major corporate collapses of Ansett Airlines, HIH Insurances and UMP/AMIL (a major medical defence organisation) and by the NSW Government as an administrator under the Local Government Act.
Stephen has acted in some of the largest corporate collapses in Australia, including Dainford Limited, Girvan Limited, Nauru Phosphate Royalties Trust, Allco Principal Investments and as Special Purpose Liquidator in FAI Limited, Lehman Brothers Australia and ABC Child Care Centres. He also acts for the majority of Australian trading banks and has completed numerous investigating accountants' reports in a variety of industries.
