Simon MillerContact details BackgroundSimon has in excess of ten years’ experience in insolvency and corporate recovery. Having been with PPB since 1995, Simon has worked on all forms of insolvency administrations, in particular on large liquidations and sizeable litigation, as well as informal advice and forensics. Simon is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants and was adjudged the Candidate of the Module in South Australia for the Advanced Insolvency Module of the Professional Year Programme. As well as being a Chartered Accountant, Simon has played a significant role in the development and maintenance of IT and IT Forensics within the firm and takes a particular interest in IT in general. Industry Experience and Specialised ExpertiseMuch of Simon’s work has been on large liquidations and investigations, in particular the Emanuel matter and subsequent litigation, of which he was an integral member of the team assisting the Liquidator. In the areas of both corporate and personal insolvency, Simon has investigated complex company and trust structures in order to pursue matters for the benefit of creditors. Simon has experience working with banks both locally and interstate through formal receiverships as well as working closely with secured creditors in large administrations.
